Joseph’s main objective in the studio is to realize the artist’s vision. He is happy to contribute to any step of the record making process. Since 2012, he has been writing, producing, recording, engineering, mixing, mastering, and performing for his independent project, Pheeno. He studied Music Technology at UNC Asheville and then Brown University where he graduated in 2019. Joseph has been a freelance mastering engineer for five years, and joined Short Stack as head mastering engineer after interning with us in the summer of 2019. He is also passionate about independent artist advocacy, and offers complimentary support on copyright and distribution to all of his clients.
